Mad World
By now most gamers know about XBOX’s Gears of War best selling game. Before the game was released we got bombarded with commercials about it. The tv commercial was pretty good in general, but the best part was the song in the background. I would have sworn that the song was by REM, and therefore it took me a long time to get to the song because it wasn’t REM after all.
The song is called Mad World (lyrics) and is interpreted by a guy called Gary Jules. The first time I heard it was in the memorable climax from Donnie Darko (soundtrack). The song is originally from Tears for Fears , released in their first album The Hurting being their first top 10 hit.
Personnaly I like better the Gary Jules version. Enjoy.
